All Are Welcome At Winnwood

Winnwood encourages involvement from students and adults. We host a variety of family events throughout the school year. Donuts with Grown-Ups, Student Learning Showcase and Fall into Success are just a few examples of events where caregivers are encouraged to join us here at school. We also offer activities that enhance learning experiences for students. Garden Club, Frisbee Golf and Ukulele club have been included in our offerings. Every new school year brings opportunity for new activities and great experiences.  

Winnwood is a PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) school. PBIS is framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. PBIS often improves social emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable and safe learning environments where everyone thrives. Positive relationships and communication with and participation from families are key components to a healthy PBIS environment and therefore, a thriving education for students.

YouthFriends
